In this modern era of smartphones, tabs and laptops, games are everywhere. Be it spending time at the doctor’s office, or during travel or anywhere else waiting on the counter/couch, you tend to relax yourself with some clean game that can keep you occupied for sometime so that you don’t find waiting to be frustrative. I downloaded one such app named Addiction and let us discuss about it.
Powered by Jeux ID, the Canadian company that specializes in creating word and other online puzzle apps, Addiction falls under the strategy games category. It is available for free download for all Android users and is compatible with Android 5.0 or later versions. It is a simple game about numbers that doesn’t go for any advanced mathematics but puts your small addition skills to a test. This fun app will keep you entertained for hours together.
Your objective is to slide the cells to merge them to attain the highest possible number. You have to succeed in creating the legendary black tile with a score of 100. This minimalist game is very easy to understand and has got a smooth interface that lets you to slide the tiles through without much ado. There is an indicator on the top left of the screen that tells you how you must move the tiles, either vertically or horizontally. There is a new dark mode available in the game that gives you a very different feel when you choose to play with it.
The concept of Addiction is to slide the tiles to another tile on the same row or column so that the difference between the two tiles is just 1. For example, if you want to slide a tile that reads 3, you must move it across a tile that is numbered 2, 3 or 4. This same rule continues for each number. The sounds as you move the tile is very nice to listen. Addiction gives you options to turn on/off the sound effects. As you level up you can come across the colourful tiles like green when you reach 25 or more and black when you go 100 etc. The game ends when there are no possible moves to be done with a difference of 1. So, this purely depends on your brain power where you create the biggest numbers with lesser moves.
You can also choose to purchase an ad free version of the app with this. The app is suitable for all the members of the family. I would say this game Addiction goes by the name such that it is so addictive and is impossible to put the phone down once you get a hang on it.
