Road safety is an important subject, and progress has been made to promote safer driving but we haven’t seen anything like TrypScore. It’s available to download on iOS and Google Play.
TrypScore uses your phone to measure safe driving, taking into account acceleration, braking, steadiness, speed, phone use and more. The safer you drive, the more points you earn!
You don’t need to actively use your phone to use the app (that wouldn’t be safe!) so it operates in the background, optimized to have a minimal impact on battery.
The primary way to earn points is just by driving safely. There are also Tryp Pyns you can claim – physical locations you can drive close to if you want to earn extra points, entries to contests and exclusive discounts! Once you’ve earned enough points you can redeem them for gift cards.
There’s even a daily Tryvia quiz where you can earn points by getting a perfect score, and weekly missions so, even if you don’t drive daily, you can still earn lots of points!
Any app where you can earn points isn’t complete without friendly competition, though. Tryp has leaderboards where you can compete with your friends and family, people in your region and even the world!
