Parental Control App – Mobicip is a complete parental control app, including a website blocker, screen time schedules, app limits, a social media monitor, and a family locator.
Mobicip has a default screen time schedule and web filter based on the child’s age. It’s pretty basic, with sleeping and school times marked. Mobicip blocks apps and websites that can be distracting during the school day but allow the phone to be used for educational purposes. If your child’s school prohibits the use of cell phones during school hours, you can change the settings to block all communications.
The calendar can be completely customized. You can add time blocks based on your family’s schedule, allow or block apps and websites by category, or name a specific app you don’t want your child to use.
You can adeptly set a daily screen time limit in addition to a calendar – Mobicip provides three options:
Custom
Set the hours and minutes of screen time you want for each child in 15-minute increments. Each day of the week can have a different limit.
Outside of the Calendar
There are two methods for setting screen time limits: a calendar and overall screen time limits. This option disables any daily screen limits and enforces only calendar-based restrictions.
No Free Time
This disables the phone for the entire day.
Vacation Mode in Mobicip allows you to temporarily disable the calendar and screen time limits without deleting your settings. Family Time is the final screen time tool. When you activate this, all connected devices are paused.
The Mobicip filter goes beyond websites. It categorizes apps into three groups:

- Games
Mobicip’s YouTube monitoring capabilities have been enhanced. The most recent update allows Mobicip to monitor the YouTube app and website. It works by scanning the video title, description, comments, and other Meta information and blocking the video if any keywords are found. You can also completely block YouTube using the web filter and app limitations.
Geofence Is Now Available For Improved Location Tracking
The geofence feature is handy for parents who have children who walk to school alone or live in an area with a dangerous street. It lets you set a radius around a specific area and sends notifications when your child enters and exits the zone. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my children arrive at school on time and return home immediately after school.
Mobicip also tracks your child’s location via phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It plots all of your children’s avatars on a map so you can see where they are at all times. It also saves their location history, so you don’t have to keep checking your dashboard to see if they went to a friend’s house to study instead of running off to the park.
Mobicip has a sleek design from the child’s point of view. Opening the app on their phone or computer will show how much screen time they have used so far and when the next scheduled shutdown is. They can ask for a time extension or permission to unblock an app or website.
